motor DIY's, please help - Honda Prelude Forum

I put on my JG cams two weeks ago and no problems until I really got on it this weekend, well long story short I noticed a tapping sound pulling into my driveway 20 min. later. Took the valve cover off to do a valve adjustment and I'm missing one of my lock nuts for the adjustment screws. Well its not just lying in the head, so the only place it could go is in the oil drains. My question is this, what are my chances that it is just lying in the oil pan and it didn't screw anything up? Thanks for all advice in advance.

Very likely its just sitting in the pan. Someone had this happen before. I think it was preluda92.

thanks man that makes me feel better, incidently that was the night I put that shifter on and I gotta say, very nice.
