More **** swap questions...

Hey let me start off by saying sorry for all the stupid questions....

These honda bolts are pi$$ing me off!!

I stripped that one bolt on the AC compressor, and because thats in the way, its a pain to get to the header bolts that go to the downpipe, so, of course, i stripped the two outside ones... grrrrrrrrr. Best way to get them off w/o torching them?

get some liquid wrench, then a nice big breaker bar..should do the trick! You can aalways buy new bolts at orchard or honda or wherever.

So I can just take like a titanium drill bit and drill through the bolt all the way down?

Will this mess anything up?

haha, L-U-R-C-H
Head bolts? Those are like 5-6 inches long. Those are hardened bolts. Those are going to be a bish to drill, and on top of that, you will get metal shavings in your head in the process.
Man on those head bolts, you gota make sure your socket fits tight and you gota make sure your square with the bolt so you dont funk it up. I guess you have no choice but to drill it out.

preludatic, how were you trying to remove those bolts from the Downpipe/header area? From under or from the front/side?

I was removing mine last week and one of them just didnt want to come off, i got it like 3/4 off them the end snapped off. Nice. Also on my sway bar, SNAP!. Awww crap. haha Ohh well i was going to remove my front swap anyway.

How the hell did you strip head bolts? They were a pita to remove but I don't know how I would've been able to strip those. Are you sure you used the right sized socket? Maybe those craftman extractors that look like sockets might be able to help you, I haven't tried them though so maybe ask somebody who used them before what they think of them.

Im mostly doing it from undernieth. Id so it from the side, but the AC compressor is in the way!! and thats cuz i majorly stripped a bolt on that.

as of right now, i got all the header bolts out but one (the driver side one) but with brut force, its slowly turning (doing the "click from losing from rust") sound.
