more problems

just checked the engine to see if i had any vacuum leaks and found out that i broke my knock sensor (the black plastic part that connects to the block) i know alot of the members have gone through this problem and was wondering if the intake manifold had to be taken out to get to the knock sensor. i can reach it from underneath with my hands but i don't know if i can get a socket on there. if anyone has replaced it by themselves fill me in on the process that you went through.

Try to get a socket in there. I can't remember if there was enough room or not. If anything, use a regular wrench to get to it.
