More Mugen!! -Pics-

I was flipping through my latest edition of Import Tuner and saw the most beautiful prelude I've seen in a while, it has the Mugen kit on it, WHERE THE HELL CAN YOU GET THIS KIT, DAMMIT. Sorry bout the outburst, I just really want this kit and all my searches have been fruitless, well here are the pics.

AND THE HEADLIGHTS, MAJOR WOOD!!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: HELP ME FIND THIS KIT!!

I don't know where you can find it, but those headlight covers (or whatever they are) do not appeal to me at all. Icky...........don't care if they are Mugen.

You can't find the mugen kit. About 6months ago, someone was selling the front Mugen bumper on ebay for 1k. I know where to get a mugen style wing, but the bumpers are pretty much impossible. As for the headlight protectors, you can get those anywhere for around $40. I have a picture of the actual Mugen Prelude on my computer at home. It is the green Prelude with old school Mugen rims.

i know where you can get a mugen front bumper...PM me if you want to know. As much of a jdm freak as I am, I couldn't justify buying that bumper just because it was mugen. I'm not a fan of how it looks.

willmbrk, where do you find mugen style wings? To my knowledge there was never a replica made of the 4th gen mugen wing.

Oh crap! I can see differences between the two wings now that I found a really good pic of the mugen wing. On some websites, I have seen the erebuni wing tauted as mugen style.
Here are the comparision

Charlie, you best believe I snagged that wing. I'll be posting pictures of it in the next week or two.

As far as the erebuni wing, it looks nothing like the mugen one.

Nope the erebuni one looks nothing like it...

It's just a flat deck type like the mugen, but the design is very different...

Well crap. My dreams are shattered. I still am going to buy the Erebuni wing, and pray that the car gods shine down on me and find me a Mugen wing.

I'm with you guys who don't like the mugen kit, and I'm with Mark, those headlight covers do nothing for me. That ITR though...NICE.

willmbrk: I like the Erebuni wing better, I'd like to see it on your car as I like it from the couple pictures I've seen, although, I'd like to see it in person before I buy one.

Is it any wonder that Mugen isn't exactly a big name in Prelude tuning. It shouldn't be a surprise, there are lots of Japanese aftermarket parts producers. Another important thing to remember, if I am not wrong, is that Mugen is most important for making motors for Honda F1. Now if we couyld only get Mugen to make us a great frickin powerful Prelude motor.
