those two plastic pieces should be STRAIGHT.lol either the top bumper mount is bent downwards or the bumper beam is bent upwards. to me the bumper beam looks like it has been moved. it looks too close to the body of the car in the pictures.

the plastic pieces should straighten out once you fix/replace what ever is causing it.
take some pictures from underneath the bumper beam.

Unless you bought the car brand new form the dealer have you thought about it being in an accident before you bought it?

Honda Automotive Parts
Paste that in your browser..it has all of the bumper components. to me it looks like your car took a hit before you got it.. the bumper beam and the parts behind it should probably be looked at by a proffessional because it will probably have to be pulled out. what you can do is take it to a shop and have them quote you what they would need to do to make it right then go do it on your own if you know how. that link should have anything new youre going to need

would it make a lot of difference if im missing the styrofoam part that attaches to the bumper... the same one that goes in the front bumper???? i cant get the bumper to align in the correct place... i have a finger gap in between the tailight and the fender!!!!

I heard a friend bought a prelude as well.. ill try to get in contact to see what is wrong with my prelude..!!!!

one question! On the corners (of the rear bumper) are they attached with the same clips that goes in the middle (once the trunk is open)????

thank you
