moonroof for sunroof?

Hey there. i was pondering the other day and I was kind of annoyed because I didn't want to sunroof open in my friend's ar but we needed the light in the car. So that go me thinking. Can u switch 4th gen's sun roof for a 5th gen's moonroof? Thnks!

Nope, not without lot of custom work. I already attempted this. The 5th gen has a more square and flat roofline, and the 4th gen's is more rounded. You would have to get a body shop to install it with lots of bondo and custom sheetmetal work. or you would have to have a glass company make you a custom piece of glass to fit in the stack frame.
