Mitch's Prelude

New to this forum, so here goes nothing...
So I just bought my first Honda last week, a 1995 Prelude Si. I like it a lot so far. It has the h22 vtec in it, 5 speed manual. I will put up pics later today when I get a chance. Its in pretty good condition, and I dont really want to change much on it as I like it how it is and it seems to have pretty decent power stock. I will of course put on an AEM short ram, and possibly a front strut bar, but I dont think I even want to change the exhaust at all.

I have a sound system ill be putting in shortly as well. Kicker 12's with a Kicker 300.1 amp, Soundstream touchscreen deck and Polk Audio 6x9s and five and a quarters. Do any of your preludes have the extra speaker in the center between the two back seats? I was thinking about putting a little subwoofer, maybe an 8" for the mids in there. Any opinions on that?

Another idea I had was to put the accord bumper trim black pieces on my rear bumper like they have in the faq forum here. What do yall think of that??

Ive always owned Amerian cars, this is my first import, so well see how it goes.

Ill keep updating my car in this post as I go.

Just finished installing my front strut bar, and the air intake to my car. Also got the stereo done by my audio guy the other day. We built a custom red fiberglass box for the two kicker 12s in my trunk, powered by a kicker 300.1 amp, and put in the new capacitor as well.

We rigged the dash kit so that i could have the deck below the tray instead of above it. Installed the auto start alarm as well, i am going to put the motion sensor module in, in a few months. Might put some red leds in my dash but im not sure yet.

I am considering getting headers, but leaving the rest of the exhaust system stock. Would that lower the power gain i would get from the headers? How much of a difference would it make if i got new pipes and a high flow cat but left the muffler stock?

Ill put up pictures soon.
