Miner Problem With Hunter's Lude

-----> when driving on a freeway my steering wheel vibrates a bit and then stops, basically everymorning. COULD THIS BE I NEED TO BALANCE THE WHEELS OR AN ALIGNMENT???? I don't think it can b anything else. OR CAN IT?
I have stock rims and don't plan to get any at all.

Your wheels probably just need to be balanced...If you let go of your steering wheel on the highway, and your car start going towards the left or right by itself, then your alingment is messed up.

Constant vibration at highway speed: wheels need balancing
Car pulls to left/right: Needs allignment
Vibration/pulsation under breaking: Warped brake rotors
Using arrows to start every post and excessive punctuation: just plain annoying

Here is something else to consider, check your axles. I chased a vibrating problem on my last lude that drove me nuts. I replaced the tires, balanced the wheels numerous times, changed the rotors, wheel bearings, and just about every suspension and steering item I could think of. Turned out that the inner CV joints were shot. Just because the boots aren't torn doesn't mean that they are okay. mine had actually slung out all the grease from under the boot, and the joints got destroyed. If your car makes a whinning, humming, or groaning noise at low speeds that you think might be tires, or if your steering wheel vibrates when you accelerate or decelerate, check your axles.

-------> This Is It. when I drive at a high speed about 60mph every morning the steering wheel starts to vibrate for a short period of time. Basically if the car is not driven for a long time the vibration begins and then stops.
I don't think its tires because I purchased not long ago a set of Nittos on stock rims.
--------->Will check axles tonight. I have to agree it is really beginning to get to me.
----------> in terms of suspension only in FRONT: powerslot rotors with axis pads.
No sounds but a only a Vibration on steering wheel.
-------> Please let me know of dissent brand of tires for not a high price, I'll just get a set and use the current once on the track.
