ok i may wire this thing up today but doesnt it save the old settings from the person who had it before me. i want it to be at stock setting so i can just change the vtec crossover to 4700 or 4800 until i can get to the dyno. any advice? any other setting i would need to set? thanks

after you install the vafc go to the 'setting' menu. there should be an option there to 'initialize settings'. that will reset the vafc back to the default settings. goodluck!

you have to set it to read your car correctly, how many cyl engine it is, set your throttle so that it reads what your throttle is at and a few minor things that are explained in the manual which is available in pdf form on the apex'i website... if you can read a manual and follow instructions its pretty easy.. make sure you get your connections doen well and read the directions carefully
