MES connector

Can anyone tell me where I can find the MES (memory erase signal) connector on a 4th gen (96)? It's part of the SRS system and is used to reset the signal. I thought it was near the fuse box or the steering column, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks.

It is in the same location as the CEL check connector, under the center console on the drivers side.

You do know ti is not a simple as shorting it to erase the memory, right? You need to do a series of shorts to clear the mem. Check the Helms, it details how to do it.

I couldnt find it under the console. Are you talking underneath the armrest by the e-brake and gearbox? I followed one yellow wire loom from the comp and it goes to the steering wheel airbag, and the other is under the carpet and goes to the passenger airbag I believe. And yes, I am familiar with the reseting procedure. thanks.
