Ok so decided to investigate my leaky flex pipe and it turns out that that wasnt even the problem. Not only did the mounting bracket break off but it tore two holes in the A pipe. Absolutely pathetic! For those who have a megan header you may want to consider unbolting that bracket so as to avoid my problem. One month of use and this is what you get.
For now I have the stock a-pipe attached to the megan header no problem and will probably have those holes filled in at a weld shop.
Ill be sending this pic to Megan and to every other forum I know! Bleh!
Megan is a helluva lot better than OBX in my opinion.
megan is the obx of 5 years ago... obx has made some great improvements over the years. i think i would actually rate the new obx stuff over the dc sports stuff (before dc was bought out by aem)
Although you don't expect it to go wrong so soon, the quality is reflected in the price. There's a reason why people say 'you get what you pay for' and this is a perfect example. Still, you'll know better next time...
I'm pleased you're doing ok, even if money is a bit thin on the ground. I was the same 12 months ago, I was seriously running low on funds and then things changed, literally, in the course of a week. I was asked by a friend to help him set up a website selling DVDs online without any investment on my part and it took off, more than we imagined. Now it's giving us a nice wage and everything is looking rosy, so don't get too down bud, your situation could change pretty much overnight.
I contacted the guy I purchased it from on ebay and they sent me another one (just the two to one pipe). You really can't complain for the price.

How long did yours last? No way that looks just like mine. That is definately some poor fabrication. I just wrote to the seller so I hope he responds soon! Did you have to send the defective a-pipe back to him?
have any of you guys had problems with the Honda bracket that attaches to the broken bracket in your pictures? (The one that attaches to the engine block, really thin piece of metal) I've recently replaced mine because it cracked in two, and i think my replacement has already cracked after less then a month, it's created a pretty annoying buzzing sound around 3000 rpms.
