ummm no its just over 2.0" on the collector on my Megan header, dunno if your friend is blind or what..

Their catbacks may look decent on other cars, but just didnt look good on the lude..

They aren't a knock-off brand where are you getting this from!?!?! Some dumb **** thought MUGEN and MEGAN were "so close" that he started spreading this.. its not a knock off brand at all..

anyways, I am welding a muffler, not sure which one yet, something quiet and stock looking, to my Megan catback piping great quality imo..

It's 2.5" OD but 2.36ish" ID, I measured it myself.

yup...finally installed my megan header last night and thought about measuring the collector. Exactly 2". I have to be quite honest with you. The install went well and found absolutely NO fitment issues and as far as I can tell the build quality is superb. I don't mind giving Megan a chance.

On a side note....now after having installed my new Evo2 catback and Megan header, along with my intake...I seem to be feeling more pull, especially in the upper range around 4k and 5k. It has made the exhaust note sound a little raspier...which I noticed right away. All in all great buy, great install...especially being my first.

Well I guess my friend is lying or doesn't know how to measure then.
He measured 1.75", and thats when I laughed. Hopefully its 2.0".

Only problem with his megan header is that flexpipe section makes "rattling" noise
a bit. but other than that, everything seems great. it looks sexy too.

How long has he had his megan? No "rattling" at all here.

You should take a pic for proof sake...then this thread will be invaluable to anyone else interested in one of the few SS headers available to us poor H23's

Here's a picture of my megan. Like a moron i forgot to clean the header before running the engine so theres all these purple spots. Can I clean those off with regular SS cleaner?

Use Mother's SS or Chome Polish to clean it off.

*pic update*

I highly recommend Amsoil Pro Metal Polish. Looks great and the purple is gone
