Measured the stock catalytic converter today.

The 4th gen VTEC cat is exactly 14 inches in length from end to end. Anyone recommend any universal high flow cats that are this length and could be made to bolt-in with some flanges?

Get the Random Technolgies. It is rather pricy but well worth it.

Also be ready for an increase in exhaust volume.

I got mine from Lightning motorsport.

whats better in terms of sound/power gains, a test pipe or a random technology hi flow cat? I dont want my exhaust extremely loud but I am looking for a good power gain.... for those of you who have them or tried them, what would you say?

I got a random CAT and they sent me the Vtec Cat 14" with the Si flanges, So I called them up and asked them "whats up with that", they acted like I didnt know what i was talking about, gave me the run-around for like 30 mins on the phone...Wanted me to drive over to the nearist dealer so they could look at it(2 hours away)So I ended up drilling the holes out on the exhuast side to match the flang...I will never buy from random, or tell somebody else to buy from them neither......
