Yo!
I've only had time to put my front shocks and springs (Koni Yellows and Eibach pro-kit) and due to the rain, and college papers I havent had time to put my rears on.
So the Front is lowered, and so far it responds great. However, I rub a lot when thers a bump or if the level of the freeway changes. Its really annoying and it feels dangerous to drive like this!
What im asking is if that this could go away when I put my rears on, or do i have to change my tires (215/45/17)..or if there is another possible solution! If the post doesnt make sense I can try and explain it to yu better on aim. Thanks
Mike

What are the offset on the rims? Too low of an offset will cause you to rub. I assume you had the rims on the car before you lowered it? Try putting the springs on the highest perch on the konis. You might also look into lower profile tires.

smaller tires is the most effective way I know of... its also one of the most expensive
where exactly is it rubbing?

Try putting on your rears and then see if it still rubs. If it still does, it sounds like it might be the offset of your rims. Prokits only lower you 1.3" or so and I'm running close to a 2" drop without rubbing so I doubt you are too low. It could help if you got 215/40/17 rubber. Thats all I can think of, offset and rubber.
its mainly rubbing inside of the tire and the fender well...
when i pull out of a driveway and turn away, I hear it rubbing
What I'm going to do I guess is install the Rears first, and see if that helps anything. If not I will raise them as close to a stock level as I can. I really can't afford tires right now so i guess this is the only way to go, a long way but ohwell. What do you guys thinK?
peace,
Mike
