Map sensor problem

Keep getting cel 3 which is map sensor. I've replaced it with a new one but still get the problem. The car runs fine while its cooler, but once it really warms up the cel comes on. It starts to bog down a little and then throws the code. I've noticed that lately my underhood temps seem a lot higher than normal so we replaced the fan temp sensors among a lot of other things. My msd ignition box seems hot to the touch so I'm looking into if that could be causing the problem. It was even mentioned that maybe my cat was clogged so I installed my test pipe. It has to be something else but I'm out of ideas as to what it could be. I've searched through all the other posts but no one else has had the same situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
