Lude SR vs the rest of the hondas

just outta curiousty how you SR/SI (stock or modded) owners do against the rest of the hondas or other cars in a drag run. All 5th Gen prelude models, civic SiR's, GSR's, LS', Rsx, and accord v6/4 bangers. as for me i beat a 5th gen base AT, stock SiR, smoke an LS, hang with a GSR and beat an Accord 4 banger. other kills, A4 1.8 turbo and 91 supra N/A. how about you guys? to me everytime i tell them about my kill stories ppl laugh at me hahaa bunch of ignorant ****s they dont know that h23a's have potential too.

well when i went to the track, (where racing should be done) i took a modded civic si pretty easily, even though he had a better reaction time & 60ft. i traded wins against a modded gsr, and ran lower times than a few of my 5th gen buddies. driver abilities play a huge role in racing outcome.

I rape Civic Sis all day long...Tegs, good by anything less than a GS-R, I hung with my friend's stock ITR a while back, I beat a late 80s Mustang 5.0 by .004...Beat a 5 speed 5th Gen at the track by about a half second (he couldn't drive for ****, but oh well)

I've always wondered how close a 93 Si would keep to a 2000 GSR with intake and coilovers...

suppose driver abilities were even

what would it take to beat that softly modded GSR in a 93 Si?

I smoked an R-34 Skyline, Subaru WRX rally edition, Tom's Supra, Mugen NSX... all 'of those cars i whooped using a prelude Si... well in Gran Turismo.. yeah yeah.. that was kinda stupid. .but yeah i'm bored.. naww for reals,

on the freeway, i've beat an integ type R, civic Si's all day, 240 SX's, 5th gen ludes (depends on the driver)

got smoked going ~125 on the freeway against an Accord V6. That guys top end was killer.. he pulled even when i was like going 125. That **** was crazy and i got overly cocky on this Del Sol VTEC and his ass smoked me with his turbo.. oooh i heard that winding pwwsssshhhhhhhh and he was gonnneeeee..... never ride against the small del sol's that could have H22A swaps or B18C5 swaps with turbos... that's a no no...

Cmon

Mannnn
I live to street race.
I cant help it, its a gene in my family. All of my family has owed a race car and raced. Im the only one that is gettin skrewed. My family grew up in Michigan where Racing is the #1 sport. Now here in Cali it much tamer. But i race almost every time i drive. I dont car who it is or what there driving. Mini Vans what ever. haha Last night I was going out on a date when a nice looking Integra with Ram air, body kit, gauges, and bright green pulled up beside me and started reving.I have been wanting a good race with an integra. I was like nawww im not gona caus i have a chik in the car. Then a NICE looking Camero pulled up with some fat all tires and a nice sounding exaust started revving. I was in the middle, I said sorry to the girl and when the light turned green i smoked them both off the line and slowly pulled ahead of both them. Then RED light. The Camero turned. Then green light i raced the integra again and same result.(panzy haha) Next day my friend said he saw me kik the integras butt from the intersection. Its nice knowing that i can actually prove somthing for a change. Never look down on a Prelude S caus even tho there rated low they still smoke, especially on the freeway going 140. LateZ

sub ex, i think it's spelled camAro, and did you really do all that in a prelude S? that's pretty good, i think, from what i've read... those are slooooowwww.

by the way, i took out a accord v6, sentra se, legend, mr2, but i think it was a n/a, i'm pretty sure a mid-engine turbo rwd 2-seater could kick my ass... i did this on a auto... i'm still looking for a manual.. someone help!!!!!

honestly guys, it's the driver... and no way you can take out a camaro or a turbo mr2 with an S or Si w/o any mods. sorry to say, but depends on the driver.. oh yeah you could beat an Accord V6 if the driver was a slow driver, but if they knew how to drive, Accord V6's can haul at top end. it'll pull past 130mph no prob.

yea ok, so i said i beat a mr2 that was probably n/a, or he just wasn't racing, but i heard that engine roar, i dunno what turbo sounds like. ckchi = newB, and the v6 is auto, no such thing as a bad auto driver unless he forgot where the gas is. by the way, i've never raced to extreme speeds, maybe 70 at most on normal streets, can't really highway race, lots of highway patrol lately, i dunno why. so anyway, the accord probably could have raped me eventually, but not at the speeds we were going.

how do you guys do against V8's? heres my story..

damn i finally raced a mustang GT tonight (road was empty and dry w/ no cars so dont flame) although i dont really know what year, but its the current body. i was on 88th in surrey BC going home to richmond i pulled up on the left side of king george and 88 and he pulled on to my right. we both revved and waited for the green light. the light goes green and i peeled off like crazy all the way thru 4th cuz of that bumpy intersection so did he. so we cruised till' nordel way/88 and 135. so we got ready again and waited for the green. i revved till 2.5K and dumped the clutch and got an awesome launch. 1st-3rd it was dead even shifting at 7K but i hit 4th he pulled 1/2 car length and i stayed on his bumper! HAHAHA. even though i lost by NOT MUCH and it was no where near of getting SMOKED i was surprised i kept up with a V8 (search the GT specs and compare it to an SR). anyways we cruised some more we hit highway 91 keeping up behind him going 190 and at some point my car was still pulling. we pulled up to another intersection in richmond where we chatted. i quickly yelled out "Is that a GT?" he said "yea" he goes "what model is that" im like "SR no VTEC" he said "You got NOS??" ROTFL im like "no just intake and exhaust" and he said "your cars ****ing fast" and we gave thumbs up and went our separate ways. anyways i have CAI, full catback Apexi-N1 and 15" w/ S rated Bf Goodrich. he had 17's and exhaust but i didnt really get to know what he had under the hood.
