Lucas oil stabilizer?

Hi everyone, new to the forum.

Just a quick question, I just bought a 95 sr-v about a month and a bit ago, and its time for an oil change. Has anyone ever used Lucas stabilizer in the H22? Could it help with any oil burning?

it turns your oil into bubbly foam. i say stay away but i don't have any hard evidence behind it.

I have not used it in my H22 yet but plan on it, and have used it in all my other engines from my 4G63 DSM to my 4AGE Corolla, has worked great and I imagine is why they ran so great. The other techs and I call it "pour a new engine" because of some of the turds we get in the shop, it has really helped. I stand by it. Peace

okay sweet, thanks a lot for the advice.
I've just heard about it helping to slow down oil burning. I'm sure thats one thing a lot of prelude owners would looovveee to get rid of completely

Dont use it, it does in fact make your oil get all frothy

What about Additives?

Haha wow, there is some education. Haha definitely going to pass after seeing that. I just picked up a high mileage blend and im doing the oil cahnge, I'm sure anything is better than the base canadian tire brand oil the guy was using before me. Thanks for the input.
