LSD or Clutch to go with H22 swap?

Alright, I've got my heart set on a H22 swap for the summer, but I'm facing a delima. I can get the engine w/ LSD for about $300 extra, or I can get an aftermarket clutch for about the same price. (Just a nice street clutch. . .dont need 100,000 lbs of holding force). Opinions? I have heard a nice clutch can help off the line acceleration a good bit, but the LSD probably handles better. What would YOU do, given my limited budget?

its a hard call either one you are going to notice a difference, but i would go for LSD. I opted not to get the JDM tranny w/ LSD because i wanted the real deal Quaife LSD, plus i also got the heavy duty pressure plate and 6 puc disc, and a Fidanza flywheel, I saved and got it all at once. if you are planning it for the summer you are going to have a lot of time to save up to get it all at once.... take one step at a time, ROME wasn't built in a day.

i say go for the lsd. you will LOVE the feeling of it after having to deal with a peg-legged FF before it. if you were buying a lsd alone, i'd say wait and get the clutch at the same time. but since the lsd is already included in the tranny, just get it. clutch installs are pretty easy to do anyways, so you can do that later. wheel spin on hard turns and wet accelleration really piss me off. so i would opt for the oem lsd.

it rules.

handles better.... oh and my 2.25 60' foot in below-freezing temps is nice.

clutch installs are easy. LSD installs are not.

I'm tempted to go ahead and do both at the same time (clutch will be easier before the engine is IN the car, obviously). The problem slapping the clutch on there is that now I'm waaaaaayyy tempted to go ahead and do the flywheel at the same time. . . .more money down the drain! Oh well, decisions, decisions. . .

I would do both, save u money in the long run... as for the Quaife lsd, hmm, I PERSONALLY don't feel a difference. Only thing i notice is when i peel out i feel both tires spinning.. heh... Clutch helps alot... I also have a ACT Clutch layin around... its the HA3-XTSS clutch... still has 80% on it... Wanna buy it?
