I have a Kaaz, I think it kicks Quaife's ass.

You can always rebuild it as well.

Quaife has a lifetime warranty though

I have the Quaife but I heard of this Kaaz for the first time the other day and everyone I have talked to says that it is way better than quaife. So There is a guy here who will buy my quaife for 500 and I am going to try this Kaaz LSD as I can get it new for 525.

The reason you haven't heard of Kaaz is because the H22a LSD is fairly rare in the US, like it's not advertised much.

I don't know how much it all cost me, a lot of things were done at once.

There are a couple things about the kaaz. One you have to use that kaaz gear oil which is about 40US for a can. Also since it's a clutch type LSD at low speeds while turing the clutch plates can slip a little and make this clicking sound that sounds like you are breaking your axle...I think it's cool, but some people may not like it. You just have to learn to turn and use the gas the correct way to avoid it. It's not bad, but if you do it right there will be less wear.

Search on Honda-Tech in the Integra and ITR forums about Kaaz.

Sounds like the Quaife is more worthwhile. I don't want to have to pay 40 bucks for a can of oil for this mod. HOw much better than the Quaife is this Kaaz LSD? Seems like a PITA.

Yeah, but this 40USD-a-can type? I've never heard of anybody w/a Quaife mentioning this before. Kaaz is sold on e-bay all the time, so why don't more US drivers use them?

bah...okay nobody buy them! They are evil!! $40 for oil? Damn that's too much!

The reason people don't have them is because until lately you could only get them by importing from Japan. I'm sure it's still the case but NA dealers are getting them..

I'm not saying that they are evil or not. I'm just wondering that, if they are found on e-bay so commonly, why aren't they used more by a crowd who swears by JDM and Euro-DM paarts????

Perhaps not on sale on e-bay now, but I have seen them there. Oh well, I guess they're both good kits.

Have fun,
J
