Personally I would get a brand name of some sort... h&r, neuspeed, eibach (I dont really like skunk 2 much), etc... if you are patient you might get a good deal on ebay on some new or lightly used springs. I got my neuspeed sports for about $150 new... I've heard the eibachs are not quite as stiff as NS or h&r... I would go with one of the last ones (I am talking sport springs here = 1.5" drop... not race springs typically = 2"+ drop)

Don't get race unless you want a really stiff ride.

eBay Motors: NEUSPEED SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS 92-97 HONDA PRELUDE ALL (item 190205898456 end time Jun-09-08 10:58:47 PDT)

I also found them for $170 on some website... and I think the shipping was lower... I don't have the net at home and keep forgetting to look in my notebook for the website..

would the neuspeed sports drop the car enough for it to require any camber kits to correct camber problems?

my old acura cl, didn't need any with the neuspeed sports, my tsx required a rear camber kit, and my s2000 now, didn't require any with its eibach drop...

does the prelude?

I had 226K on my ride, so I did all 4 corners (camber kit) right off the bat. I think going more than an inch and a half (1.7") you may need the fronts. I bet you could squeak by without the rear kit though... you won't know for sure until you try it I guess. I've heard people argue both ways with the NS sports.

I like my spc balljoints so far, but they aren't cheap.

Damn, I wish I had gone through that many honda/acuras. I won't ever catch up at this point.

Good luck, let us know what you decide on and how it works out.
