ive seen posts like this before but i was wondering if lowing it 1" in the front and 1.5" in the back is doable w/o camber kits and uneven tire wear (inners of front tires)....i have adjustible coils
you or anybody else that lowers the car lower than .75 inches will need a camber kit or they will have uneven tire wear I use spc camber kit and it works great ---

really i thought it was if you had more tan 1.5 inches you'll need a camber kit. im dropped 1.5 right now on Sparco Lowering springs and no there problems at all...hmmm
I took my car in for an alignment after I dropped 1.5 in and they told me they could do the fronts but not the rears and that I needed a camber kit. So my camber is a little off in the back still. I can actually see the tires bow out slightly but barely. I havent noticed any tire wear yet.

That seems odd. I've only seen the opposite. My friend who is lowered close to two inches needed a camber kit only for the front.
it is, in fact, different for every car. Also, regarding lowering, Tein's manual says the SS, at maximum extended height, lowers the front 1.6 inches, and the rear 1.7, so regardless of whether or not the rear seems higher to anyone, it may just be.
on my car the camber is visibly greater (bottom of the tires are out more than the top) with KYB AGX struts and H&R Sport Springs (rated 1.5" drop around I beleive?)
With the tires wearing, I think this might affect people more so with low profile tires, mine are fine but I'm running all season radials 205/55/r15 on stock rims. I've been runnin around for just about a year now and I've noticed no tire wear on the inside... my old tires pre-alignment had worn signifigantly on the inside BEFORE I lowered my car...fancy that ? I've yet to align my car since I got the suspension put on. It pulls left more now than it did before, but always pulled left after the initial alignment when i noticed tire wear.
can anybody whose seen tire wear place advise on if they're stock / aftermarket low profile tires?
Talk about jumping off topic..... I can't understand why you would drop the back .5 more than the front. If you would like an even drop then maybe something like .2 in the rear would be more of an accurate number. I have an even drop and the back sits just a little higher than the front. You really have to look to notice.
As for camber.... I remember the rule being 1.5. The best way to tell is have someone take a look and tell you how much you are out. Some places will check the alignment and charge you half the price because they don't have to change it.
For the luder that stated 2 inch drop with no camber kit or wear..... That is one magical car!
