Lowering My Car, what do I need?

Im lowering it onto 18's.

Couple Q's.
For one, how much lower does a body kit extend the bottom
of your car? I need close numbers here. I plan to get a kit
l8r and I want to lower it enough so that its at least an inch
off the ground but still low.

2nd..
What all do I need?
Springs i know. sway bars? Camber kit?

My friends all think they know what you need to lower
it butthey don't know the 4th gen lude.

Personally I'd get Tanase sustec coilovers. If that's too much green, Koni yellows and ground control coilovers come in a close second. You'll need a camber kit if you're going to have the rims tucked into the fenders.

Yeah..if you can, a full coilover would be ideal...in your case I'm sure you would want adjustability...(I have just 1.5" springs and shocks..) at the least you could go with the GC coilover sleeves and Koni yellows, Tokico or KYB AGX shocks.

And regarding the Body kit...they are all different...some extend lower than others..depends on the kit man. One of the ones that extend quite a bit are the Black Widow kits..

Camber kit is good if you are going below 2" and from the sounds of it you will be...now sway bars aren't necessary..thats more for handling
