i would just get some of the ones that light up... just mask off the side that squirts and paint them a gloss black... and make sure you don't hook them up to a battery

why, whats wrong with our windshield washer nozzles? ide actally rather see a better squirting one that more evenly distributes the watter, just just a super soaker glob of water.

i was going to install windshield squirters from a cavalier one time.. all you'd have to do is extend the hoses, and then they wil spray from the windshield wiper arm, and u can fill in the holes on the hood for the squirters

that is exactly what i did. I went to pepboys, bought those ghetto-fob-u-los light up ones that are like chrome or what not, i cut the wires rite off, got some black primar and sprayed 2-3 coats over it... did it the same time when i pulled off windshield wipers. OEM nozzles have probs fittin on the vis hoods i noticed.

thanks for the help guys! so these LED lighting ones are lower profile than the stock ones? I'll get those as long as I can paint them over and look nice. I know a yellow LED would add about ten horsepower to my car But i'd like them completely black. I'll look into that today. thanks again

Look at other OEM washer nozzles from other car manufacturers... I know Volvo makes ultra low-profile washer nozzles. The ones on my mothers 940 Wagon only rise about 1/8" and are flat black.

I converted my squirters to a wet arm confguration... No holes in the hood and all the spray ends up on my windsheld..

please be a little a bit more on "wet arm configuration". are you saying you attached it to the wiper arm?

A lot of cars have the squirters tucked within the arms themselves, including my mom's Toyota Previa

Just find a car with squirters on the wiper arms and swap them onto the Prelude wiper arms (I used the nozzels from a 80's Chrylser LeBaron GTS I found at a scrapyard) . You can keep the hoses hidden by running them up the centre of the wiper arm springs..

yea i know. i was just asking if thats what he was talking about. saying "wet arm configuration" isnt really self explanatory.

when the windshield wipers are down, and you activate the spray nozzles, wont they spray to the right side of the car? or is there enough of a delay to make it spray on just the windshield?

anyway, what im most interested in is a better spreading washer nozzle, that spreads it more evenly.

"Wet arm" means that when you activate the squirters the washer fluid comes out a point located on the washer arm.. It's a standard term.

The "wet arm" squirters are designed to spray a wide swath directly onto the windshield right next to the wiper blade so liquid dispersion is right on the wiping area..

well first he explained what "wet arm configuration" meant, then he answered my question on how i thought the water would spray to the side of the car (passengers side). so it doesnt relate all that much to what you said except for the topic.
