Low end torgue

Anyone have any suggestions on how to do some minor modifications to increase low end torque in a 4h gen? Don't really want to spend too much money right now...Kinda strap on cash. Thanks...

Supercharger. Other than that...there's pretty much no way to do it.

Pullies............ Cheap and gives you more low end. Actually gives you hp all the way up but it's a great mod for the boys with vtec.

Peace

Apparently the AEM ones dont have some sort of vibration-cushioning bushing that the stock ones have, and your water pump WILL wear out a lot quicker. That would suck.
Again, this is just what I've read on HondaPrelude.com. I have no experience with pullies myself.

The AEM pullies will not ruin anything, but your battery. The bad one are UR crank pulleys which don't have a harmonic balancer and they ruin the oil pump.

If you drive in traffic alot or have a big system just use the AEM p/s pulley.

So you are basically saying don't worry about anything besides the battery if I decide to purchase the AEM p/s pulley. Does anyone that have AEMs have any opinions on them? I would appreciate your comments...Thanx...

About the p/s pulley, does that make your p/s less assisted? That would be a nice side effect, IMO.

I have them they are good, but dimming lights and slow power windows suck. I'm putting my stock pulley on when I do my swap.

Yes a little it's nice, that's why I'm keeping my Accord P/S pulley and using my Accord crank pulley to make it work on my swap.

Forget all that! If you're strapped for cash, the best way to gain a lot of low end torque is to advance your timing. Check out Brady's free mods @ hondaprelude.com for a good explanation of how to do it. Basically, you just loosen your distributor and advance the timing some (4-5 degrees for me around town, more for racing), then tighten back the bolts. Just don't over do it; the ping'll get ya
