Loud Vibration in engine compartment

when i hit about 3000 rmp there is a loud vibration comming from my engine compartment. I opened my hood and the black plastic piece under the windsheild has lots of screws missing and I suspect that that is comming apart and vibrating. What would be the consequence of me removing the whole thing??

you would have a big open empty space, and it would look bad. I suggest finding screws and installing them.

Osh? Home Depot? Are you sure it's that and not that panel above your guages inside the car? My car had a HORRIBLE vibrating sound around those rpms and it was coming from that.

Well a simple test would just be, while you're driving off, when you hear the noise, just hold the panel down with your hand, then you'll know or not if that is it.

4th gens are notorious for vibrations!

My door panels used to vibrate and the worst of all, when you have a sub, that damn rear panel underneath your rear winshield.
