Lost the washer for the oil filter...

What size is it? I think i'll just go to home depot and pick one up.

do you mean the gasket on the oil filter or the washer/gasket on the drain plug? Either way go to an auto parts store.

btw if it is the drain plug its 14mm

when you go to honda to buy the honda filters and he finishes ringing you up say hey im sorry can i get some washers to , 90% of the time they will give you a few no charge YOU SAVE LIKE 20 CENTS if he gives you a few

^^yes you need the gasket for the oil filter.

i always get the washers for free from service, they are pretty cool about it. they also let me take any cotter pins i needed.. this is open road honda in edison btw.

The local acura dealer let me have like 10 washers for free, haha

Some places will be cool about it

yeah, okay people, if you all need drain plug washers, just send me 37 cents for postage and i'll mail you each enough to last for the rest of your prelude's life I never really appreciated them that much, always had a handful when I went by my dad's dealer or when I ask my brother for one, he always brings like 30 from work. By the way, which gasket DID you mean? The Rubber o-ring on the filter or the metal crush-washer for the pan drain-plug?

ah my mistake i meant the washer for the drain plug. the one that they give you with the filter.
