Its the to switches that go in under the Vents. It happens to almsot all ludes. Play with it and your lights will go back on.

A few members here including me can do it for you if you really want it.

But i suggest you try it. you know you can always pick one up at your local junkyard, PO.com, or ebay if you screw up.

Hey man, i've done the LED conversion too all by myself, its easy enough if you've got a basic electric knowledge, nothing fancy.

As for getting it out... you have to take the console around the shifter off first, then remove the console that houses the cd player, ashtray, cig lighter etc with 4 screws... then i believe there are 2 screws at the top of the climate control in front you have to remove. There's a brass or gold colored screw underneath that holds it, remove that. Then you have to worry about the cable...

There is one screw that puts pressure on a clamp that holds the cable on the underside of the climate control, loosen that but don't remove it and pull the cable out from beneath it. Then there is a plastic arm that reaches over the end of the cable, loosen one end and kind of pull it back gently until you can pull the metal looped end of the cable off of the post and pull it free.

Now the climate control unit should slide right out, assuming you undid the electrical plugs of course. Any more questions you can hit me up, AIM: munscher.... i have my interior gutted as of now so i can look at it for reference if i need to as well.

Mine have been out for a long time. Every so often if I play with the dimmer control it will flash on for a bit, then go back out.
