Lost Acceleration, please help

I recently reset my ECU for the first time (96 SI), and now I notice that my car seems to have lost acceleration in first gear. When I am at a light and it goes green i will rev to around 2500 while slowly releasing the clutch, when the clutch is getting released it seems that the RPMS drop alot faster then they used to, they fall alot then finally they start to go back up. Does this have anything to do with reseting my ECU, or could my clutch be worn? I have plugs, wires, and a CAI. Please help with any input.

To me what you descrbibe sounds like you just arn't giving it that much gas when letting out the clutch. It doesn't matte wuth acceleration too much because you should rev to higher than 2500 when starting to go fast. Does the car the rest of the time fell fine?

to be honest i guessed around 2500 RPMS, im really not sure what I do, but it does seem to lag. I gas it pretty well. just enough to get movin, but not enough to chirp the tires. The other gears seem fine.
