Looking for pictures of red 4g with kaminari rear or WW RS front... (mark94?)

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a red 4g lude with kaminari rear or WW RS front. Preferably with stock sides skirts painted. I looked through multiple setups with kaminari kits, but could not find any nice pics of the rear or nice pics of the front with WW RS lip.

Please help me out if you can.

No picture I dont care about the quality, as long as it isnt really blury. I mean my friend used to have a black lude with a WW RS lip, but for some reason after lots of searching I couldnt find any setups on hp.com with pictures of their red lude with RS lip. Strange. The problem is if i just search 'wings west' or 'ww' I got like 100s of results. When I seached something like 'ww rs lip' or something I couldnt find anything.

Not too mention no kaminari rear. Also, what kind of rear did you have with your rs front lip?

Jordan,

I just sent you a few rear pics of my car. I can't post them here because they are not hosted.

Thanks. It looks good I think i am going to go with the kaminari in back. Only thing, where did you get it? I am looking for somewhere I can get a good deal... Also, about what should it cost? Cuase I know a WW RS front lip is like $150, will this be alot more for just the rear piece?

No problem Jordan. I got it from a local shop which is now closed. You'll have to do some research on where to get it. I was searching groupbuycenter.com the other day and came across a guy selling Kaminari products for 20% off. Go to groupbuycenter.com and do a search for "Regi", that is the sellers screen name. You will see a group buy with the name "Kaminari" in the title. That may be an option for you.

I paid $525 for the rear and the sides so I'm not sure what the cost of the rear is alone. Anytime you mix and match kits, be prepared to spend more money.

Good Luck.

Mark

I am paying around $135 for my ww lip. I didnt expect to pay this much for the rear... Hopefully the sides skirts are the largest part of that. Do you think the sides would cost 2/3s or that, since there are two sides and one rear lip?

Also, do you think the kaminari rear lip would be lower than the factory side skirts? I dont think so, but i just wanna make sure.

Thanks for everythingm
Jordan

Generally, the rear piece costs as much as the sides because the rear piece has curves that wrap around the side of the rear bumper (the mold is more complex). The side skirts are straight pieces. I would say the rear alone will cost at least $250 brand new. You may be able to find a used kit on eBay. I saw one there a few months ago that sold for about $350 and it was all four pieces. You may get lucky.

And yes, the rear does hang lower than the stock black sides on the 4th gen. If you are going to put a WW RS lip on the front of your car and the Kaminari rear on without any side skirts, it will look odd. Even if you paint the stock side skirts, the lips hang considerably lower.

The rear lip msrp is $279. It is still gonna be around $225. So I think I might pass. I just dont have that money after all this money going into the reck. This does not even include shipping.

The kaminaris must be awesome quality, cuase 279 seems way to expensive for just a lip.

Thanks for the input. I guess I will just try to find a used kit, and install it seperately. Its too bad, just cause I would basically be getting free paint.

Oh well, what can you do.

The body shop that I took my car to said that my kit - Wings West big mouth and Kaminari sides and rear was the easiest kit he had ever installed. He also said the quality of the Kaminari fiberglass was top-notch.

You get what you pay for and if you could see the car up close and how the kit fits you would agree with me that it was money well spent.

If you can afford it, it's a no brainer. Keep looking, you may get lucky and find one on eBay, I promise you won't be disappointed with the product!

Wait a minute..... Kaminari is made of fiberglass.... i thought it was all urethane?!

Jordan, you should always be prepared to spend alot of money for the kit, don't get jib with lower quality product. I also suggest letting a body shop that knows what they're doing to install it and paint it.... that extra money goes the way trust me... i had friends install their own kits and paint it... awful! Save up till you're ready.... if not, you could just get the front lip... still looks nice alone

Yeah Z, the real-deal Kaminari kits are all made out of hand laid fiberglass. I think they recently started making a few kits in urethane. I saw the new 2001 Civic lip kit which was made out of urethane - VERY NICE!

I wanted at least my front bumper to be made out of urethane so it can withstand a little abuse. The sides and rear aren't subject to getting caught on debris on the road so I thought it was O.K. to go fiberglass on those areas.

I know your car is lower than mine. Are they cracking due to stress, or because the car is very low and getting caught on things in the road?

Cracking because of speed bumps..... damn them..... so if anyone decides to lower there car real low ..... then you better prepare to walk further because now i try to avoid all speed bumps.

But, i'm gonna buy some coil-over soon and i'm gonna raise my car to the highest setting that should take care of all the bumps on the roads
