lip kit mismatch question

So i'm finally going to buy a lip kit (somewhat)

i already ruled out any fiberglass kits as well as the WWRS (because i don't like the front lip too much anymore)

so i'm getting jdmsh@t spoon front lip and accord rear lip

unless there are some good sides, i might leave oem. anyone have good pics?

any other lip kit suggestions?

Go with the 95 Accord sideskirts. They look a bit more aggressive than the OEM ones, without looking ricey.

Si_g has the 1995 Accord front lip and sideskirts paired with a 1994 Accord rear lip. IMO, that's the best looking. Not overboard by any means. I plan to go with his setup eventually.

Thats exactly what I was going to say, Accord skirts!!! I was going that way w/ the old 'lude, then I bought the one w/ the Kaminari's....and well, I love 'em. However with the "kit" setup you're talking about the accord sides would be very nice.
My setup, Accord R front, w/ Kaminari sides/rear.

Ooo, ooo, new thought....anyone seen if the Mugen or TypeR Accord skirts are any different...? Since the stock ones can be modded to fit the 'lude, could these?!?!?! Be the first Peter!!!

I know it's kinda hard to make out on my sig but I've got the Accord front, sides and rear lip painted on my car. Check sig, I'll try to get some other pics if anyone wants.

well i would love to try the mugen accord sides or the type r

but i honestly don't have money to play around with. i'm guessing the accord sides fit w/o modification? is it the 2dr or 4dr and what years?

but i will look into other accord sides. i'm sure you could make it fit but i haven't even look at these sides yet.

I think the coupe and sedan sideskirts are the same. You have to trim them to fit. IMO, the 94/95 styles look the best. The others are kinda plain.

Agreed, the 94 style ones w/ the little rear "kickers" like on the two cars above (silver/white) They are not "slap them on". I know they have to be cut down because of the length, and the coupe/sedan are the same length. But if you junkyard a pair, see if you cant get the front mudflaps w/ them, then you cut the front end off and cap them with the Accord mudflap, clean.

I justed wanted to say. I went to a good local junkyard yesterday to find me a set of accord sideskirts. I found one set and was happy as hell. I then found 4 more, all in good shape. On top of that, I found 3 more rear lip sets. So if any 4th genners want some accord sideskirts or accord rear lips, let me know and we can work something out.

I trim painted my black last night, they look brand spankin new

I made a post earlier, but it's obvious that it didn't go through.

I installed my lip today, but I didn't exactly measure right, so it sticks out a little on one side. I don't really mind, though, because you really can't tell. The bumper's shot, anyways.

I want some sideskirts and rear lip. Where are you located?

Columbus. But I make a Cincinnati run like 2 or 3 times a month. You should just come up, and we can install these at the same time...

Also, can't you just cut the lip? Then fix the cosmetics?

Well, to fix it sticking out, I'd have to re-drill the holes to get a perfect fit. The center is just off slightly, too, by less than a centimeter. That's all it takes, though.

I'll see what I can do and I will post on here how many I could grab. I am going to go back on Saturday to grab the accord mudflaps I need.

I'll grab as many side skirts, rear lips, and mudflaps that I can. Also if anyone need any front console pieces, I can grab some of them too. They have 3 4th gens there that basically have the front console intact.

And now that I think about it, I think I saw 2 maybe 3 accord front lips that'll work too...

So if anyone wants anything, let me know...

I am on AIM all day at work and a decent amount at home. My AIM = oldboymd

Ok, first off let me say I haven't put the sideskirts on yet, but the clips seems to match up, you just have to cut some off of the rear end to make it line up, then cap the cut with mudflaps... But what do I know..

Secondly, let me get this straight. You pulled '95 accord sideksirts off of a '89 prelude? and you paid $100 for it? I got these practically perfect sideskirts for $40 total at the junkyard...

Although I just paid $50 from Steve00000001 or whatever shipped for a brand new accord front lip

My lip, sideskirts, and rear lip will all be put on the same day. MMMM I can't wait..

psst, cut it off the front, mudflaps would look funny in front of the rear wheel.
