Ligther Pulley With No Belts - Honda Prelude Forum

i'm working on my enigne and i just got my lighted pulley, i took the A/C off and the P/S, now i just have the alternator and the lightened pulley....any gains in these mods? I heard that you can gain 5hp with just the P/s off.

You might gain 5hp when you are turning the wheel. You hp gains when you are going in a staight line are very little.

I have the pullies, after i put them on i didnt feel much of a difference, but every little thing adds up i guess

You have lightened your stock crank pulley? Or what was lightened, cause I don't think there's any way to lighten the stock pulley with the harmonic dampener in there.

If you have an aftermarket Underdrive crank pulley and just the Alt belt you will see nice gains up to 10whp...especially with the A/C compressor and junk out.
