Lighting Options

Hey Y'all

I've been really dissatisfied by my preludes headlights. I just want some oppinions on where I should put my money...
I really am only looking for High Beam performance, I drive down country roads 70% of the time and they're always dead when I'm out at night, so I can have my brights on most of the time. do OEM fogs really help the brights? should I buy some cheap replacement bulbs? or go straight to HID's? I really need to do something quick because I cant see S*it at night and there are thousands of deer out there waiting to become hood ornaments, I dont want to wreck my baby just because I cant see.

THANKS!!

oh yeah, if this has been asked before. flame away

preludestyl should post up in this one, he's got hids in JDM 1 piece's but he's got these glare reflector parts as well. Its not a retrofit projector but cuts the glare down huge and he said it lights up the road better than his dads (maxima?)

Its the route im going to take for sure!

You will have to custom wire the fogs if you want them to work while your hi beams are on. If wired through the stock wiring the hi beams go off when hi beams are on. Kinda sucks but oh well.

The product on the bottom of that above webpage, plus D2S bulbs in H3 JDM Projector housing yields this:

I raped the photo from Prelude Styl but It's one of those great things that should be brought up again.

^^ edited to show the part, $22.50 each.

so I can go buy any H3 bulb and this will work? its only for low-beam isnt it? and in the description it says its for HID bulbs??????

JDM 1-pieces arent better for illumination, are they? everyone has said get them, why cant I just keep my stockers, especially if I was going to put in HIDs?????

damn, this is only getting more complex

JDMs are about the same illumination wise. If you want to keep the stock ones then do it. But, I believe you'll need 9004 or 9005 bulbs? don't quote me on that.

Back to the HIDs why H3s? I thought the lowbeams were H4s running on the high beam of the H4 bulb. Anyone know which is better H3 bulbs or H4? Also anyone think it's worth it for H1 high beam HIDs?
