Lighted PW switch, how?

I've always wondered why the Passenger(MEANT DRIVERS) Power window switch wasn't lighted
at least it's not on my 92S

I was junking yesterday and saw that it got added on some later models or different trim lines.

I grabbed the newer switch and unfortunately there's no place for the light pigtail to plug-in(was thinking maybe it would be hidden in the door panel some where, like fog relay wires-there but not used unless installed)

Would seem I could tap some wires in the door to power a wedge bulb

Anyone know a pair that's always hot in the driver's door. Anyone with a schematic? Anyone help me out

thanks

uh, you have an s? no power windows, no power mirrors, no locks? any of those would be hot when the car's on/or always, gl.

advice: the door wiring is probably present, just no harness leading up to it. trace a wire through the door and add power and ground to the other side of the harness.

Why don't you just run a wire from your running lights? You don't need an always on connection, you need an accessories or running lights connection. The power windows do not work unless your key is turned to on, so maybe you can even tap into that?

You don't need a schematic, you need a volt meter and the ability to decide which is + and which -

Yea that's why a schematic would help, help me to decide.
Other wise I'm looking at 9!/7! or about 65 different combinations

Here's the two different switches
top is the newer light one-notice pigtail, it's for small wedge bulb
Bottom is off 92S

I found a schematic-copy attached
and the answer is
blk\yel is HOT, comes from the #9 under dash fuse
blk is ground
