If I were to want either JDM One-Piece Prelude or ITR lights, where would they be?
Is it as simple as going to a dealership and ordering the part number? Or is there a cheaper way through another distributor? I'm thinking yes for the ITR lights since they are very new, but maybe not for the Prelude ones since they;re like 6 years old...
Any thoughts?
Also, if anyone has the PART NUMBER for the JDM Lude lights please post it!
i would say junk yards....the rules in japan is that they since they have no emissions laws, ...they dont get taxed when they have a brand new car....once the car goes onto a number of years ....thats when they start gettin taxed thats why most of the people that sells jdm parts gets in contact with the local junkyard in japan....and alot of the people over there doesnt want to deal with the tax because its a whole lot of money....so what do they do, junk the car and get a new one.........thats what i heard from my friend ....forgive me if this is totally wrong....
Hmm so we're just getting raped on the prices here...I must investigate more...my friend will be in Japan for 2 weeks, so I need to plan a way for her to get me some stuff...but I have to make it easy for her...I need to learn Japanese dammit....
check out the march 2002 super street. theyve got an articlal on Type One;l the retail outlet for spoon sports. u can walk in and buy anything they got layin around, including; (us dollars) $20 for vision corner lights, race-ready EK9 for 2800 and a street built del sol for 4000. thats what they mentioned... if i ever get a chance to go to japan im so stopping by.
i know i know, its another story shiping that stuff back!
actually i know some people that goes to japan and buys spoon radiator caps..itr shift boots and stuff like and he puts it in his carry on and sells it here...
hehe when my friend it goin to japan i'm goin to have him hook me up, but yea i would like to know where to find this **** so i don't make him run around town haha, but he goin to school ther 4 almost a year ... i got to get him to make a paypal account or something so that when i become a JDM whore i can just email him to buy this and that and then ship it to me
I ordered my JDM headlights from a dealership in japan, they came brand new with a JDM honda box and a reciept from the dealer in japanize w/ a part number.

unfortunately, I have lost the number
Did you just get a hold of a dealership and have them send them out to you? Or did you have someone in Japan do it for you? Also, how much did they cost brand new?
i know this may seem odd, but i have a few friends in japan, one with a salvage yard, there in .jp and in .au, not only do the prices sky rocket when they hit US soil, but if you're american and dont know the ropes over there, salvage yards as well as some shops charge you more than the average asian customer.. sucks dont it?
i sold a set of JDM lights for a TYPE-R integra, i landed them at 250$ with a small crack and minor scratches.. sold those off for a pretty penny...
my shop charged me $700 for them. I'm assuming that it covered their end of the deal. I was spending over $10,000 on other things so I think they gave them to me at their cost.
if you look at the price of new headlights & corners from a US dealer, its about the same.
I've been quoted $1000 Canadian (like $600US) for JDM ITR Lights...shipped and I thought they were more expensive than the JDM prelude lights...these were new as well...
