learned today that the brake pedal height is adjustable. Makes heel-toe even easier.

was I out of the loop on this?

really how? I can heel-toe pretty well withthe way it is now but it would be nice to adjust it...

apparently there is an adjustment bolt on the shaft the pedal is attached to.

I have grown comfortable heel-toeing as well, but it would be nice to try I guess.

Hey I hear alot about this heel toe stuff.Pardon my ignorance but
what exactly does this do?and what are the basics of doing it.I have
tried it once or twice but I don't really know the hows and whys.

i believe the point of heal toe braking is to keep the engine reved while you're braking ( in a corner) then when you want to acclerate , the engine will be at a higher rpm, to exit the turn faster

you brake with your toe while keeping the gas down with your heal

www.turnfast.org I think has a great article on heel toe. it's some variation of turnfast

I never new about adjusting the pedal, I will have to try it. I heel-toe all the time. The advantage is that you can downshift smoothly while braking going into a turn. Then when exiting starting to exit the turn you can just exit smoother on the gas with more speed.
