leaking tire between rim and tire

Earlier this morning I went to pump my tires and I could see bubbles bristling out on one of my tires. There is a little leakage in between the rim and the rubber part of the tire. and was thinking how I would fix that cheaply and would I be able to do it myself? I've read around and people have suggested a few solutions such as fix a flat, slime, and goo... which one should I choose? are there specific ones for specific leaks.
any suggestions how to take the tire off from the rim?
Thanks.

Put on the spare and take the whole tire/rim to a shop to get it fixed.

yeah, take it to a shop, they can break it down, and put some bead seal on it, the fix-a-flat and stuff like that will just make the inside of the rim corrode, and cause more leaks, and maybe eventually make any other tires you put on that rim down the road leak....

dont ever use that fix a flat junk.. it throws your tire outta balance when its in.. also is a ***** to clean up and makes the person at the tire shop hate you (i did tires a long time ago for a shop) petern and exile hit the nail head on.. take it to a shop.. they will clean the rim and the tire bead if needed and then slap some beaed sealer on..

Thanks a lot you guys, for helping me out on this. I will take it to the shop and see what they can do. how much does it usually cost by the way? just curious. if it costs more than $30, I can probably just get a used tire that works.

used tire? I guess you don't care about your life that much you can't even afford new tires.
