The AGX's are adjustable. I think that's the only difference from a normal kyb.
Stock shocks work with aftermarket springs. How long the stock shocks varies when you lower your car. I was on stock shocks and aftermarket springs for around 2 years without a problem
Yeah, I've been trying to figure out this question for a while. I have a H & R sport with stock shocks for more than a year and it still have no problem. I just wanna know whether I have to change it or if not what damage will it cost.
Thats the setup that I want! Do you like your H&R's?
To me they look like a good spring and I like that they dont drop the susp to far either!
do you have pics of the drop by any chance? THanks in advance if you do
I'll try to get a pic this week end and e-mail you next week sometime. I like how it drop cause it's not too low (the front still get some scarcth with the speed bump once a while). Still I'm trying to figure out whether I have a correct set up though.....cause i read from a sportcompactcar magazing that after market spring needs after market shock.........hopefully, i don't need to change the shocks...........no money....
yeah I hear ya on the no money situation, I been told the same thing that the shocks will blow after a while but it would depend on the driving. How is the ride compared to stock is it real bumpy or satisfactory?
I need to get AGX's... I have been riding on GC's with stock struts for over a year. My shocks are not blown yet, but I am pretty sure my handling would vastly increase with a set of new adjustables.
I payed 100, i bought them off a guy on HP.com who had em on for a week because the shop sent him the wrong shocks.
