konig wheels

i have a 93 prelude si. I just ordered some Konig Ziege wheels in 16x7 with hankook ventus HR II tires in 205/45s. does anybody have these rims or tires on their lude, or at least these brands??? I'm just wondering if i could get some feedback on how these wheels look and how the tires handle on the lude.

The wheels look very good, but from past experience, and from the store i work at the Konig wheels are quite heavy compared to other wheels, that would be the only down side

i went with 205/45s because of all the plus sizing info i have read... i want to keep the speedometer reading accurate and it states for every inch increase over stock wheel size drop 10, so from 205/55s to 205/45s. I've seen those tires advertised in sport compact car magazine and they were at a good price so i went for em. That sucks if they are gonna be heavy, i did a lot of research and found that the stock wheels are 22 lbs. and the konigs in 16s are supposed to be 17 lbs. I sure hope they won't slow my car down, i was trying to be careful in my selection to not do that. thanks for the feedback... if anybody has access to these wheels in 16" please weigh them and let me know if 17 lbs. is accurate

love mine

i've got 17X7 Konig Rated-Rs and LOVE them.
690 kg each is a bit on the heavy side, but they are stronger which is a good thing.

Why would you want a 35 or 40 with 16's???
When I had 16's they had 50's. I'd say 45 or 50 is right for 16's depending on the width.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. My wheel and tire set came in today. I placed the new wheel/tire combo on top of the stock wheel/tire combo and the plus sizing really seems to work, both are the same overall diameter. As for the weight, first thing i did when they came in was take off one of the old wheels w/tire and weigh it and i did the same with the new set. The konigs with hankook tires weighed 40 lbs. and the stock wheels with the worn down regul sport tires weighed 40 lbs. So i guess i shouldn't have any loss in acceleration due to added rotational weight. Hopefully acceleration has actually improved, cuz i just took the konig for a test drive, and those hankook tires really dig in and don't peel out so bad when i take off.
