I'm looking for some input on a couple of things,
1. I have the most annoying & persistant "knock" in the front suspension whenever the car is at the point of acceleration or deceleration. Ie: when ever I hit the gas/brake with intention I will feel a knock in the floorpan, radiating into the door of the car. It started on the drivers side, now its on the pass as well. Originally happend when I lowered the car. I was thinking ball joints, had them checked, I replaced the upper on the LH side of the car. All others haven't been touched (ever). Now I'm thinking its the radius rod bushings..... Any experienced people with input...?
2. What is the lifespan of an OE ignition coil? I'm having some hesitation issues, I think it started with a bad tank of gas, the car wouldn't rev out. Now I'm having some "jerky" low speed driving. I'm not sure if its the humidity messing with the ECU's idea of ignition or what. I checked the wires, the cap, the plugs (less than a year old , under 25,000km) all is good. Ideas....?
Problem #1 is the biggest annoyance of my car, whoever can help me understand that one and put me on the track of fixing it will be a freaking hero in my book.
