I know how that feels. I wish I had one for you. I went through that last year. No power under 40...

A broken knock sensor will retard your timing thinking your engine is knocking.

I'm pretty sure I went with an OEM replacement from Honda...I don't know if anyone make an aftermarket...

Hey NirVTEC

I was reading Honda Tuning this morning about the B-series engines and they said that the knock sensor controls the vtec, is this the same in the H-series too? If so then how come my vtec still kicks in, i got it put on a machine and it said the knock sensor is bad, could it still be that?

I'm not sure about that. I know I had to floor it under 40 to get little power, VTEC still kicked in, my power was weakened.
