Just weighed the car!!

oh yea, finally weighed the lude............2680lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was with around 2 gallons of gas, so I figure arounf half a tank would put me around 2720.

I am sooo happy, thats pretty light.

i have a gutted trunk, removed back seats, and removed washer fliud, and rota slips, 11.7 lbs!

over all impressed, I thought it was aroung 28** somthing.

sweet so i should be about 50 pounds heavier, i have a no washer fluid, spare tire, jack, splash guards, dust covers, heatsheilds, a/c, or various other unneeded crap. i also installed a lightweight flywheel, and underdrive pullies. i had my back seats and trunk gutted, but it only seemed to weigh about 5 lbs. total. where can you get your car weighed? cat scales? i would like to do so too.

Not too shabby!

You'd be amazed at the different things you can remove/swap out to save a few pounds. Ever felt how heavy the stock muffler is?!

i went to the local truck weigh station! Pulled right up, and got out, went inside and looked at the scale. It shows your rear and front weight. My distribution sucks. my washer resovour dident work. I still have the stock exhaust, that mufler will soon be out for a lighter one, but keeping the sleeper look.

i opted for the stock look also, i put on a much smaller muffler that is a ton lighter than stock, but is dual tip and looks just like the stock one from the back. i got it for 40 bucks at a Boubin muffler store. not the best quality, but its not nearly as loud as a fart can and looks great. not to mention is was easy on my pocket.
