Hey all,
I just wanted to say hello since this is my first post (been reading for about a week or so and finally logged in). I'm from Mahwah, NJ and am hoping to get a 4G Prelude (I just gotta sell my Toyota pickup first). If anyone know's of a 4G lude in the tri-state area for sale under $6500 let me know (it seems '92 or '93 SI's and Vtec's are in that range). Thanks.
Welcome to the board. I'm from Norther Jersey as well, Bergen County to be exact.
4th gen VTEC's are hard to find, especially in the tri-state area. I searched for about 3.5 months before I found mine, but be prepared to spend more than $6500.
Also, you're not going to find a 92 VTEC. They weren't produced in the US for the model year 92. The only way you can find a 92 VTEC is if you buy a car that had a VTEC engine swap. You may want to buy a 92 Si model and use the money you save on an engine swap. It may end up being cheaper than buying a true VTEC model.
Welcome. As far as having a h22 in a prelude swapping one in is probably your best bet. Get a high mileage Si with a good body and interior and swapp in a JDM h22. Then you have a low milege 200hp car

Hey all,
Thanks for the welcomes, didn't expect so many, but I'm definetly happy to see them.

what town are you from in Bergen County? I'm on the North most end of it (Mahwah). Also thanks for pointing out VTec's weren't available in '92 (I'm learning valuable stuff already)!
