just recieved my jdm lights:(

I have saved money and finally found a pair that was said to be in excellent condition on ebay, so I sent the money to japan, waited over a week, missed the deliery, so had to go to the post office, finally got back from there, one light has a crack in the lense and the other one has a mounting tab that's broke. What sucks is that I got them for 335 then had to pay shipping whick was another 35 then had to pay the money wire charge so I was over 400 bucks, and the guy only insured them for 350, so I lose the rest of that money, and on top of that, I won't be getting paid for a month. I don't think I will be buying anything over the internet anymore.

you shouldn't be taking the loss.

it's his fault for insuring it for such a small amount, it was his responsibility to insure it.. he should be the one paying

no, the seller insured it for the amount of money the product was worth, he actually insured it for more than he bought it for. It just happens to be bad luck that they broke, and you had to pay more for shipping. It's noones fault but the deliverers.

Sucks though man.

But 350 would cover it if it costs 335. You don't include the shipping price. Just the item. I think.

Yes that's correct, 350 is what they are worth, but I'm still out that money. ya know what I mean. and this guy still has to recieve the damage slip and go to the post office and get my money sent back. Hopefully he will do it. It's still gonna take forever.

i don't know the insurance rate in what carrier he's using, when i send parts to buyer, i always insurance it to the whole amount, cause fedex's charging same price for insurance when you insure for $260 or $300, i would just put $299 or something like that

The thing that really worries me, is that the guy said I won't hear anything for a month, and he took my lights right there, so if I don't ever hear anything I'm out of the money and the lights even though they are cracked, I just don't know what they are going to do with them. I've always heard about the prelude curse and I think I am experiencing it first hand. Nothing has been going right lately, did I mention to you guys also that my 2000.00 gallon of copper, gold pearl paint spilled all over my garage a couple of weeks ago? So now I have all my door jambs and whatnot painted and no more paint for the outside of my car. I think I am about to scream. Now I am still getting a check engine light after I just got my new jdm h22 in and my vafc tuned. Can you say PRELUDE CURSE!!!!!!

anytime you buy something from the internet, use your visa,m/c, through paypal or whatever...if anything happens...they always cover any purchases completely against loss, damage, stolen items for 90 days from purchase date...

i've claimed a couple things already...just don't take advantage and try scam them, or they will catch on, and make it hard for you to claim when you actually need to claim something.

the post office already took them back, so now I just have to wait. and a new set of jdm's go for 600 bucks, a used set depending on the condition are anywhere from 250 to 350 and i got mine for 335, it was just all the money wire fees and the shipping that made it 400.
