Just a quick comment on Greddy

1lb shift knob. It is awesome for anyone who is looking to get rid of their stocker. The thing is sweet the extra weight is pure it feels as if it wants to go into gear by itself... Paired up with my forbidden short shifter (when it arrives) will be a stellar combo. Just my 02 if any one is in the market. Peace

How well will the Forbidden shifter hold up with a heavy knob?

I know the Skunk2 heavy knob one will snap off cheaper short shifters like DC...just curious

aaa thats a great question. I think the forbidden short shifter looks to be made pretty tough though. Ne one know if this is a problem?? If it is I will just swap it up with another greddy with out the weight.

I dont think you could snap the Forbidden Shifter. It is solid steel.

man I will tell you all that the 4biddon shifter is not going to break. I would say its made 10 times as good as the oem, the welds are perfect and the metal is thick and strong.

Guys, if you break it, I'll send you one for free. I'm sure the machine shop would get a kick out of seeing one of these broke because it'd be pretty much impossible just by shifting.

Skunk2's often break because they're aluminum, no?

Dukespeed - Did you already pay? If so, what is your name, I want to make sure I have you in my records.

I know, and like I said, I'll give whoever breaks one a free one if they can break it by shifting.

Yeah I paid and my name is Matt Perduk. I paid via paypal about two weeks ago whenever you made the first announcement. I will let you guys know about the heavy knob and the shifter as soon as I get mine.

I got $50 for anyone who thinks it will break
