Just picked up a LUDE, question regarding center console
i just picked up a 93 vtec which i should be picking up this friday.
anyway, does anyone know if the 94-96 preludes come with a center arm rest with a storage container below it. or if they're the same as the 92-93 with no storage container and no arm rest.
if they do have the arm rest is a console swap possible and is it a direct bolt-in.
sorry, tried a search but didn't come up with anything.
Is that the VTEC that I posted in the for sale forum? It sounded like a decent deal. What did you end up paying for it and what was the overall condition?
To answer your question, my 94 does have a center console area with a cup holder and arm rest. The swap is possible, but you will have to relocate your emergency brake because the 92-93 models have the brake located in the middle while 94+ are on the side closest to the driver and have a totally different shape.
Here is a pic for your reference. I guess you didn't really pay attention to my interior that night, you spent most of the time looking under the hood
Hey, when is everyone from Infamous meeting up again, I haven't talked to Neal in a while?
curse you Mark! That dammmmm car is far to nice , just seen it on another site as well, thanks for the help with the Bigmouth kit, its all on (inc indicators) and looks fantastic. I'm still waiting on my alloys (they were ordered ages ago and they sent me the wrong size 100mm not 114mm ) so I'll get some pics when thats done, prob going to drop her 2" as well.
After that I'm going to save for a turbo, I'm running a F20 atm its good but its not Vtec and needs!
Sorry bgod taking up your space here, gr8 purchase btw!
Glad to hear everything worked out with the Big Mouth kit. It is a very straight forward installation, the only thing that takes time is lining the indicators up correctly and drilling into the metal rebar, but the result is
Send me a few pics when you have the chance, I'd love to see it. mark.pelehach@ca.com
Will do, its going to be a while until its 50% of your car but with a lot of time, bit of cash and effort it'll be well worth it. Trying to negotiate some JDM 1 piece lights atm
mark, i tried emailing you before. it bounced back to me. to recap, yes it's the same car. the guy just picked up a porsche which he had there so he was negotiable. car's in decent shape and needs a bit of tlc. the motor is very strong though. pulls much harder then my old accord hybrid which was obd2.
picked it up for $5900
as for that night. haha, your car was so damn clean i couldn't help drooling at the engine bay. it's cleaner then my apartment.
as for neal all is the same. things have started to pick up and there are a few upcoming shows, one on the 30th i believe. come by next time up to spring valley. that's the main place everyone meets up at.

That's strange I received your initial email, asking where I found that listing and replied back to you. My email is mark.pelehach@ca.com but may not be that for too long.......I'm loosing my job soon.
Anyway, I'd love to meet up with you guys soon, the only thing is my car is in storage about 45 minutes away so I will probably be showing up in my econobox Civic.
