Just installed Ingalls #3572 camber kit!

The whole allignment was messed up. I went to a friend that lives close by to do the job and on the way back I could barely steer the car, so I'm getting wheel allignment done this week.

The install was farely simple, but I had to set them at their minimum setting otherwise the uper arm would not clear the fender. For those of you who have this kit, how did you go about modifieing the fender, did you bend it or cut it?

I still have some negative camber I'll just have to wait and see how the tires wear out. By the way, I have Neuspeed sport springs.

I have heard of this problem before But I am not sure. Should I buy progress from camber kits and Ingalls rear? I Hear lots of people with the same problem. I have not heard of a FIX for this

yeh i have heard of other people with this problem also...especially if dropped a lot. But i dont think its much of a problem with a smaller drop.

I have progress camber kits in front with ingalls in rear and i dont really have any problems. (lowered about 2.25-2.5") Only problem i had was that the upper control arm rubbed on the plastic fender lining. I just trimmed it out and no more problems. I guess the ingalls kits "pushes" the control arm out more so its causes it to rub more.

I have progress up front, and the only problem is that the upper control arm rubs the fender liner, which I am going to cut.

I ordered a ingalls kit from groupbuycenter.com (cheap, fast, highly recomended) and it is going to come in tomorrow. I think the kit number is 3578, and I am going to install myself.

arg, I am pissed at my car because suspension is just $$$$ after $$$$ and even more cash. springs-struts-front camber kit-install-rear camber kit-alignment-aaarggggghhh

Well worth it though.

the progress isnt adjustable like the ingalls. And i think the ingalls "pushes" the control arm out more causing it to rub more. (corrects negative camber more)

The progress is adjustable, but not really "adjustable"- you only get two different choices.

yep, you're right. and you're pretty much stuck with that one setting unless you take it apart again.
