just installed Apexi WS.. seems too short?

ok.. after I finally got the cat bolts on and put the exhaust in the rubber hangers, I really had to pull the thing forward quite a bit to bolt it to the cat. now that I have it all bolted in, the tip doesn't even extend out from the edge of the bumper at all, and the piping is almost touching one of the rear suspension pieces on the right side. also the rubber hangers aren't hanging straight down because the whole exhaust seems like it's about an inch too far forward. is it possible I got the wrong size exhaust? or maybe the previous owner had a new cat put in that was the wrong size? it seems like the only way to fix it would be to bolt in a 1-2 inch extra piece of pipe between the exhaust and the cat. there's no way i'm sending the ****ing thing back, took 2 weeks just to get it from aieonline. i'll post some pics tomorrow when it's light out..

oh yeah, forgot to add.. i drove it around and i think the WS is even quiter than my stock exhaust, although my muffler was pretty old so that could have been making it louder. I also noticed the bracket holding my DC header by the flex pipe was cracked, that would explain the 1-3k annoying rattle I've been having.

my old GReddy SP did the same thing, it was too short(by like 2-3 inches) and rattled against the right rear sway bar mount, it was REALLY annoying.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe there are some few exhausts that are made a little shorter for a certain model lude that may have had a slightly longer downpipe than the others or something... dunno. And I know it's not the cat/downpipe/header, beacause my Tanabe Hyper Medalion fits perfect.
