Just got my Si, wanna go VTEC, some ?'s

OK, i just got my 92 Si, and am anxious to get a JDM H22a in it. I've done a JDM vtec swap into a 91 Integra, and it seems an H22 into a 4th gen Si swap should be about the same difficulty. i want to save a little money, so I would like to use my Si tranny. First, will it bolt up? Also, does anyone know a site that has the gear ratio's for a JDM 5spd and for my USDM Si tranny? I really don't wanna spen the extra $$$ on the JDM tranny if my Si is geared similarly. Also, where is a good reliable place to get a nice H22/ecu? Thanks!

you want a vtec tranny to take full advantage of the motor. but if you JUST got your SI, i say keep it and have fun with it.

The h23 is nice, but I bought the Prelude with a VTEC swap in mind. I've had 2 Integra GS-R's and the Integra that I swapped a VTEC into because I love VTEC, and a VTEC swap is really a piece of cake. I found a site with the ratio's listed and it seems the VTEC tranny ratio difference is nearly negligible, and has the same final. I really need to know the best places to buy h22a;s. I got my B16a from a guy named loc who specializes in them, and it was nice, but he doesn't sell h22a's.

you can use the h23 tranny but it is hard to keep it in vtec for the 1-2 shift.
