Just bought NSX calipers (pics)

I've been considering doing the caliper upgrade for a while and I found a guy near me selling some for an obscenely cheap price for a brand new pair including pads and anti rattle clips etc etc, so I just picked them up this evening.

I hope to get these on maybe this weekend if I get time, I'm also considering painting them red (after all, I want people to know I've got them ) or should I leave them stock?

Anyways, pics: (as usual, with Imagestation, add .orig.jpg to the url for the full size pics)

EDIT: I decided to paint them black, using a VHT spray then a clearcoat and highlighted the 'NSX' in silver. I think they look alright and should hopefully get them fitted later this week.

Garry,

Nice find

My personal opinion would be to either leave it stock or paint it black.

If you get a close up of your wheel and calipers I could photoshop them red so you could see.

You need to p'shop after they are fitted?? I am considering leaving them as is, but painting the NSX letters silver, to match the car.

well I could photoshop the stock calipers to give you an idea. I remember a write up on HP.com where the guy painted the calipers red and ground the NSX letters down to get them to stand out more. It was really nice and clean.

Exceptionally cheap. First, tell what you would pay in the US for a new pair, or even second hand...

Paint them black, with the NSX white or silver.

Joel, yeah and I saw your gearbox too It's in mint condition, brand new. I went to his place and it was an Aladdins Cave of parts. He had a couple of S2000 engines sitting in crates, loads of Teg R parts and NSX stuff. He offered me a Teg Type R LSD for £50!!! Brand new!!! If he can't shift all the parts, it'll be thrown out

Do NSX calipers just bolt on?

I still have Si calipers, im thinking about Upgrading to Legend calipers, unless I can find a wrecked VTEC lude to take em from for hella cheap.

No, unfortunately He's been developing a new 2 seater sports car for a Japanese company and it was using Honda running gear as the main components, hence only Teg R and NSX parts.

Jason, I'm certain that they bolt right up to a VTEC model with no problems. Strangely, in the UK, the Si and VTEC share the same front brakes...

Either dealer or look in the classifieds.

The year doesn't matter.

Won't fit an Si, unless you get VTEC rotors.

I got my legend calipers for 200 They work great except for the chatter they make.
U.K you said that you got anti rattle clips, Is that a oem honda part that I can buy????Are they only for the nsx. I would imagine that they would fit the legends seeming how they are basically the same rotor.
