All I really notice (and I never owned a 4th gen, so take it w/ a grain of salt) is that you don't have a sunroof. What do you think you're missing??

ps... You seem to have all the ricer features!

hey well i first bought the car because i really like them, but i did some reading and i thought Japanese models had leather interior, half mast switch for the aerial. What do u guys think of it? It does need some work, any ideas on what i could to it? It already has a full mongoose system, and a dc intake and strut braces on it.

i am assuming that "half mast for the arerial" means a vent mode for the sunroof? from my knoledge no they didn't have that, and I thought 4ths didn't have leather interiors either. could be wrong. rims are nice, little unusual for that car, but they work. I would say loose the taillights though.

by the half mast i meant that u can set the radio antenna to a half position, not fully extended, what do u think i could do to the taillights? back to standard ones?

That or an LED conversion if you wanted.. or just red out spray the 'altezzas'.
Does the engine SAY h22 on it (near the exhaust Mani i think)?also if you look on the VIN it'll say BB1 or BB4 in it.
I see a digital climate control.. you lucky ba$tard!!!

i've never heard of that option for the antena, maybe someone else has but not me. I would say go back to a nice pair of stock taillights, or led's.

Thanks for all the help so far given me alot to think about
The milage at the moment is 115000 miles. The timing belt's been done and everything is in pretty good condition mechanically.I'm away from home right now i'll check the vin once im back. I am going to respray the car i was thinking of a blue or i might stick with the red, it was originally black though. Any idea what the button i am missing is in the centre console?

It was a big thing back in the day to have a Half Mast Switch in japan. I think it had something to do with so many signals in one area so you tone it down.

I know my friends land cruiser had this in his car as well.

As far as missing "options" from your car. You're missing alot. Yes, real jdm 4th gens came with many options, its just yours didn't.

They can have leather seats, interior TV, foglights, dsp stereo, air freshner (on rear deck), corner turning lights, retractable bumper pole, etc.

You do still have some nice parts though. Crome handles, digital climate controls, rear wiper.

You can get all these options but it's a pain to source them all and connect them.
